Christmas Stampin All Year Long

It's Friday and time for another challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.  Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and the winner will receive 7 digi images of their choice.
We have an inspiration photo to get you inspired to play along.
Here is my card:
I was inspired by the green gingham table cloth and the stripes in the centerpiece.  I printed this sweet Christmas Ava Mistletoe Fairy image from Bugaboo Stamps on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics and Promarkers.  I cut her out with MFT Circle Stax 1 and the mat with Circle Stax 2.  The green gingham is stamped with MFT Textile Backgrounds with SU Gumball Green ink.  The red stripe is from MME Merry Little Christmas 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is from MFT Christmas Ornaments.  The white panel is embossed with Sizzix Stars & Swirls EF.
The image panel and sentiment are mounted with foam tape.  The card base is MFT Electric Red.

Now check out the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.  I hope you will be inspired to play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Washi Tape for Seize the Birthday

Hello stamping friends.  It's Thursday and time for another Seize the Birthday challenge.  This week our option is to use Washi tape on your card.
Here's my card:
My card base, flower and mats are SU Real Red.  The white is MFT Sweet Tooth.  I made my own background paper by adding rows of Recollections Paper Tape on an angle.  I like how it turned out.  I used Spellbinders Floral Ovals and Classic Ovals for the sentiment panel.  The sentiment is SU Fancy Birthday stamped in Real Red ink.  It is mounted with foam tape.  The flower is made with MFT Layered Rose and Royal Leaves dies.  The leaves are cut from SU Certainly Celery.  I added a button tied with twine to the center of the flower. The white panel is embossed with a retired SU EF.

I hope you will check out all the fabulous cards by my teammates over at Seize the Birthday and play along with us.  Remember you don't have to use Washi Tape, but it does have to be a birthday project.

Happy Anniversary for MFTWSC#198

I made an anniversary card for my brother & SIL using this week's MFTWSC#198
Print
The card base is SU Early Espresso, the white is MFT Sweet Tooth, and the DSP is from MME Collectable "Unforgettable" 6x6 pad.  The MFT Gerbera Daisy is cut from SU Pink Pirouette.  I used dies from Blueprints 1, 2 and 18.  I added pen-stitching around the top element and a pink button, from my stash, tied with white Baker's Twine.  The sentiment is from Verve's Love Story.

I am also sharing my card over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

Merry Monday #130 - Silent Night

This is my 2nd post today.  Please scroll down for my CSAYL card.

When I saw LeAnne's challenge of  "Silent Night" at Merry Monday, I thought this Snowy Post Card stamp by Stampendous would be perfect for this challenge. (I just got it this week at Michael's)  I stamped the image and the sentiment from Verve's Glad Tidings in SU Soft Suede ink.  I trimmed around the sentiment and added it to the bottom left corner.  The green DSP is from Graphic 45 Night Before Christmas.  The card base is  MFT Smooth White CS.

It is a fairly CAS card, but I like the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Stamping,

Season's Greetings for CSAYL

Happy Friday friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.  Our sponsor is Anne's Digital Art and I am using her Christmas Grapevine Wreath.
I printed the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Promarkers.  I cut it out by hand.  I then added a SU Real Red bow cut out with MFT Winter Wreath die.  The sentiment is from Festive Frames by Inspired by Stamping, and cut with MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags die.  The wreath and sentiment are mounted with foam tape.  The DSP is from an older Martha Stewart mat pad.  The card base is MFT Smooth White CS.

I hope you will play along with us this week and check out all the great cards by my teammates over at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.

My Mini Album

Hi everyone, I have to warn you this post is full of photos.  It is a file folder mini album I made with photos of me and my hubby through the years.  My friend and I had made one at a class over at Stamper's Cove in Sarasota, FL and since I had the directions, I made another one.  All the papers are from Recollections Union Square 12x12 pad and all the edges have been inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  The mats are all black CS.  I have used various stamps & dies from Verve, My Favorite Things and Close to My Heart.  The print on the front and back covers and the last page is in the orignal DSP.

There is a pocked on the inside cover and has 2 photo mats with photos on both sides.

This photo shows the above page opened.

This photo also shows the next page opened.
There is a pocket on the left page with a photo mat in it.

This last photo was taken in Dec. 2013 by our daughter.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.  I hope you weren't bored.  This is special to me and I wanted to share it.

Happy Stamping,
JoAnn

Birthday Wishes for JUGS #262 - Ombre Technique

Here is my card for this week's JUGS challenge to use the Ombre Technique.  I used shades of pink on the Heidi Swap stencil for the background.  I sponged Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, and Strawberry Slush going down the stencil.  I really like how it turned out.  Then I stamped the SU Flower Shop image in Strawberry Slush ink, sponged Pretty In Pink ink over it, and punched it with the matching punch.  I added pearls to the center.  The leaves are from SU Stippled Blossoms stamped in Wild Wasabi ink.  The sentiment from SU Bring On The Cake is also stamped in Wild Wasabi.  I did some paper-piercing around the edges of the sentiment panel and mounted it with foam tape.  The mats are Pretty In Pink and the card base is MFT Smooth White.

I am also linking my card to Verve's October Pink Power Diva Dare.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful week.
Happy Stamping,
